Morris Street, where they encountered Krystal Scott and a van she had rented. Scott was taken into custody by the U.S. Marshal’s Office for a probation violation related to a 2020 animal cruelty case. Following her arrest, IMPD Nuisance Abatement investigators obtained a search warrant for the van and recovered multiple animal remains, believed to be from dogs and cats. Through the course of the investigation, detectives learned that Scott had allegedly acquired animals from individuals offering free pets for adoption through social media groups. Many of these meetups reportedly took place at or near Greenwood Park Mall, and she was operating a rental Sprinter van with Arizona license plate AM95046. IMPD Nuisance Abatement detectives are asking for the public’s assistance. If you gave or received an animal from Krystal Scott or interacted with her through social media in connection with the described van, please contact IMPD Nuisance Abatement at (317) 327-1270 or IMPD_NuisanceAbatement@indy.gov. Alternatively, they can call Crime Stoppers of Central Indiana at 317.262.8477 or (TIPS) to remain anonymous. Photographs of Scott are included. Your information could be vital to the ongoing IMPD investigation. Additionally, 13 live animals were confiscated in relation to this incident and were relocated to Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS). If you believe your animal may be one of those confiscated, please contact IACS at (317) 327-1397. Case Number: IP250053542

Contacted our rescue twice in a row this morning about adopting a cat from our rescue, just 3 hours after she posted her last cat fell out a window -- that she left open -- and died. Post at https://www.instagram.com/p/DM_IgOgzSOK/?img_index=1 says With a heavy heart, Beatrice, my cat, has passed away. We had a window open in the living room. I knew she wouldn’t stick her head out of the window or even go near it. I woke up this morning to feed her and she was nowhere to be found. My gut told me she jumped. She did. My dad went down to get her and my gf rushed over. I am heart broken and traumatized. That was a cat who cared for me, and was such a diva. Last night she laid right next to my feet and slept. She was so special to me and I’m gonna miss you so much beautiful bea. Fly high blue bird Submitted by J. T.

We Rescued his cat and spayed her she was still a kitten and thought we could give her a chance because she was Semi feral, we gave Jules this cat to be socialized. The cat was about nine months old. Her boyfriend and her decided to bathe the cat and the cat scratched them very badly. They beat the cat and called me a few hours later telling me the cat was bleeding from his eyes and nose, and they don’t know what happened. I asked them to take the cat to the vet and they did and the vet said that this was done by Blunt force trauma to the head he said there’s no other way that this cat could be bleeding from his eyes nose and mouth. The vet said there was nothing they could do that she is unresponsive and it’s just going to die on its own so they euthanized the cat. The town Of Hempstead spayed this cat vaccinated Her and gave her a clean bill of health Submitted by: PC
